The Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce held its December board of directors meeting at the Douglas/Elbert Task Force building, located at 1638 Park Street in Castle Rock.

Board members toured the facility and learned about the programming and services the Task Force provides prior to conducting its business meeting.

“I had my eyes opened up when I visited the Douglas/Elbert Task force for the first time. I had no idea that in one of the most affluent counties in America, we had so many families that are struggling to make ends meet,” said newly-elected Board Member Michael Spector. “I left there inspired and committed to help make a difference in the lives of others that are less fortunate than us. We are blessed to live in a community of abundance; let’s not forgot those that are less fortunate that often times just need a little help to get them back on their feet.”
