Residents from the Castle Pines and surrounding communities who have been suffering with foot problems now have a nearby podiatry practice they can visit for treatment. Podiatry Associates, PC has opened its new practice, “Castle Pines Foot and Ankle Clinic, PC and Castle Pines Physical Therapy and Spa, PC” in Castle Pines. Podiatry Associates opened its other practice, “Parker Foot and Ankle Clinic, PC” in nearby Parker in October 2013.
The spacious Castle Pines clinic will be staffed by two podiatry doctors – Cynthia Oberholtzer-Classen, DPM and Adam Toren, DPM, as well as two physical therapists, Kristina Calabrese, DPT and Chelsea Farrington, DPT. Dr. Oberholtzer-Classen moved to Colorado in 1996 to start her private practice and is the founder/owner of Podiatry Associates, PC – the “parent” company of the Castle Pines and Parker clinics.
The practice will specialize in foot and ankle surgery that addresses sports injuries, bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, and other chronic conditions. Patient services include custom orthotics, diabetic foot care, treatment for athletes of all age groups, and children’s foot and ankle problems.
The other side of the new practice will offer physical therapy for sports-related injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation services, and personal training for the whole body. A medical spa is in the works and will offer medical-grade pedicures, massages, and laser treatments.
Both Dr. Oberholtzer-Classen and Dr. Toren currently treat many patients who live in the Castle Pines community. Recognizing that there was a void for podiatry services in this active and athletic demographic, the doctors made the decision to open their new clinic in Castle Pines.
