Ooh, la la! Timber Trail Elementary girls were treated to a night on the town with their dads last month at the school’s annual Daddy-Daughter Dance. This year’s theme – “A Night in Paris” featured an Eiffel Tower, an Arc de Triomphe, and a village streetscape complete with a French café and flower shop. Dancers dined on cream puffs and croissants and admired replicas of art featured in famous French museums.

The dance is an annual tradition at the school, chaired this year by Timber Trail parent Tari Wells, who also chaired the event two years ago.

“I continue to help with this event because I am passionate about using the creative talent and energy of our volunteer group in such a fun and positive way, and I love to throw parties!  I think this year’s event was a huge success…a beautiful night for daughters to be spoiled by their dads,” said Wells.

This year’s theme was a natural fit for very girlish décor, including copious amounts of pink ribbon and tulle.

“I really loved that this year’s theme embellished romance and culture and fun,” said Wells. “Once again we were able to transform our school into something that truly felt and looked completely different from where the girls spend so many hours each week.  It was really beautiful!”
