The girls varsity and junior varsity softball teams from Rock Canyon High School (RCHS) and Regis Jesuit High School went head to head for the third annual Catch for the Cure game in support of breast cancer awareness. The teams raised more than $5,000 which was donated to the Jill Lamb Foundation, a local organization that provides financial assistance and services to families dealing with breast cancer. The Jill Lamb Foundation was created in honor of RCHS football coach Brian Lamb’s wife who lost a five-year battle with breast cancer in 2008. The turnout for the game was fantastic and the girls were proud to support such a worthy cause. To learn more or to make donations to the Jill Lamb Foundation, visit www.jilllambfoundation.org.
