For the first time in years, children in Castle Pines North were able to enjoy summer together. June 21st marked the first official day of summer, and was also the last day of school at Buffalo Ridge Elementary. The school said good-bye to the year-round track program and hello to summer
Pools and parks were busier this year than previous summer months. Most children seemed pleased with the longer summer, and enjoyed visiting with their neighborhood friends. Christy Krause, a mother of a Buffalo Ridge first grader, really liked the track calendar but was definitely happy she wasn't sending her children off to school when July 5th rolled around.
Throughout the summer, the CPN Master Association coordinated several exciting events including the "Movie in the Park", and the "Concert in the Park." Residents of all ages came out to enjoy these events.
The July 4th holiday also brought summertime fun to many HOAs throughout the community.

As most CPN families gear up to go back to school, make sure to review the back to school safety article, and detailed information provided for each CPN school. Have a great school year!
