The Ridge to Host Annual Carriage Rides – Dinner a New Twist

by Terri Wiebold and Elean Gersack

The Castle Pines North (CPN) Master Association is thrilled to announce Holiday Carriage Rides at the Ridge Golf Course in December. This annual event is a favorite among CPN residents and The Ridge is the perfect venue to make this year’s carriage rides the best ever.

In addition to experiencing the beauty and ambiance of the golf course from a horse-drawn carriage, residents will enjoy the lights off in the southeastern horizon and holiday lights in Buffalo Estates and the Pine Ridge area.

To complete the evening, residents will enjoy cookies and hot cocoa compliments of The Ridge, and will have the opportunity to dine at The Ridge Restaurant. The Ridge will also offer a cash bar for adult beverages.

Dinner reservations are available for guests on an hourly basis with three meal options – spaghetti and meatballs, chicken fried steak and fish and chips – all served with salad or soup and bread. The cost for dinner ranges from $15 to $17 for adults and children twelve and younger eat for half price. All dinners include non-alcoholic drinks, tax and tip.

Holiday Carriage Rides and dinners at The Ridge are planned for Monday through Wednesday, December 3, 4, and 5 and Monday through Wednesday, December 10, 11 and 12. The cost for carriage rides is $6 per rider and free for lap children ages two and younger.

Advanced ticket sales for groups wishing to reserve an entire carriage are available at the Master Association’s booth at Octoberfest, on Saturday, October 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the CPN business district.? Small carriages, which seat five to six people, are available for $45 and large carriages, which seat ten people, are available for $60. A limited number of carriages and times are available during this pre-sale event, so stop by early.

Beginning November 1, residents can reserve individual dinner and carriage ride tickets online at www.cpnhoa.org/carriagerides. Once a reservation is made, tickets must be purchased and picked up within seven days at Castle Rock Bank, located at 506 Castle Pines Parkway. Reservations not paid for within seven days will be cancelled.

Groups interested in singing holiday songs during the event are encouraged to contact Carla Kenny, at Contact by email or 303-482-3078 x131. For more information, visit www.cpnhoa.org.

Come join in this annual tradition and experience the essence of the CPN community and spirit.
