A towering power pole that was placed in CPN adjacent to Coyote Ridge park is slated to come down, but perhaps not before year’s end.
“When we talked to Xcel, they said the pole would come down no later than January,” said Jennifer Havercroft, the city council’s liaison to the citizen’s task force on the matter.
The pole, which stands 180 feet, drew criticism and complaints from residents city-wide. The task force continues to work with Xcel in negotiating plans for additional new poles, their placement and their height.
