The City of Castle Pines North (CPN) is working to create a Youth Commission, where high school students will be asked to provide input to the new city.
Mayor Maureen Shul has expressed a desire to form this commission for young CPN residents to assist, organize and help implement programs that will benefit the city’s young people. “I see this not only as a wonderful opportunity for CPN youth to be involved and part of our new city, but also for them to make a positive difference in our community,” Shul said.
Mayor Shul also plans to appoint a Veterans Committee for the City to handle such duties as flag raising duties, planning Veteran holiday celebrations and working on a possible future veterans monument. Watch for more details coming soon
