The City of Castle Pines North (CPN) Safety Task Force (STF) has reorganized. During 2009, the STF will focus its attention on four major areas of concern for the residents of CPN. The goal?of the STF is that focusing on these specific areas will have a coordinated impact and be a key priority for the STF in 2009.
The Task Force will focus its attention on:
1. Working with?the City of Castle Pines North, the Castle Pines North Metro District, and the Castle Pines North Master Association to help develop a Communications Plan for all CPN residents.
2. Establishing an Emergency Preparedness Plan
3. Further developing Neighborhood Watch
4. Developing a Community Fire Mitigation Plan
The STF would like to re-enlist the help of numerous volunteers to work in these specific areas. Please respond if you would like to continue as a volunteer on the STF, or if you would like to serve.
The STF meets the second Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m. at the CPN Community Center on Yorkshire Drive and Castle Pines Parkway. For additional information, please contact the STF Chair Carol Langley-Finnegan at 303-888-4012, or e-mail cmlangley@earthlink.net.
