Welcome to the Marketplace

by Terri Wiebold

Step aside Craig’s List…the Castle Pines community now has its very own local Business Directory, Classifieds postings, and Review Forum specific to Castle Pines North and surrounding areas. Who knew!?

The Castle Pines Connection new website, www.castlepinesconnection.com, is a one-stop-shop for all things Castle Pines. The Marketplace listing on the left column of the home page includes an alphabetical Business Directory of businesses that are either physically located in the Castle Pines community, owned by residents in the Castle Pines community, or that advertise in The Castle Pines Connection local community newspaper. There is no fee to post a listing, and there are currently more than 70 businesses listed.

“We think the new website is terrific and it will be a great source for finding and dispersing information,” stated Castle Pointe residents Drew and Kathleen Conneen in an e-mail to the editor. “We especially like the Marketplace being a part of it, which we have used, but don’t think a lot of people are even aware of it existing!”

In addition to the Business Directory, the Marketplace also contains a Classified Ads listing, including categories from Homes For Sale to Garage Sales, Lost and Found, Announcements, Child Care, and Pets to name a few. Most listings remain posted for approximately 90 days or until no longer valid.

The newest edition to the Marketplace is the Reviews Forum. This is the place where you can find out what your neighbors are saying about the vendors they have used and the experiences they have encountered. Come join the conversation and submit a review.

Supporting and helping to grow local businesses is of great importance to The Castle Pines Connection, and the Marketplace is one way to accomplish this. Check it out and see what the Castle Pines community has to offer. Visit www.castlepinesconnection.com.
