CPN Metro District names new officers

The Castle Pines North Metro District (CPNMD) board of directors voted in February to elect new officers. The board elected Andy Rhodes as president and Dwight Zemp as vice president.

Rhodes has been a resident of Castle Pines North since 2003, and was elected to the Metro District board in May, 2008. A local self-employed business consultant, Rhodes holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado. He previously served as vice president of the Metro District.

Zemp has worked in the water and wastewater industry for the last 35 years in the private and public sectors. He is co-owner of Santec Corporation in Castle Rock.

Bill Santos recently resigned as president after serving in the role for almost two years. Santos will continue to serve as a director on the board.

The five-member board of directors now includes: Andy Rhodes, president, Dwight Zemp, vice president, Mark Carlson, treasurer, Bill Santos and Bruce Thompson. Both Thompson and Zemp will run for re-election to the board in May, 2010.

The CPNMD provides water, sewer, and storm drain services to the community, and also oversees park and open space maintenance of the three neighborhood parks and more than 14 miles of nature trails.
