Happy Canyon roundabout project underway

The Castle Pines Metro District (CPMD), in cooperation with the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, has engaged Fox-Higgins Transportation Group and P B S & J Incorporated to design two traffic roundabouts along Happy Canyon Road at Gates 1-2 and Gates 3-4.
This project is a direct response by the Metro District board of directors and the Castle Pines Homes Association to residents’ and Douglas County engineering’s concerns regarding traffic, as well as bicycle and pedestrian safety on Douglas County’s Happy Canyon Road.
The CPMD and Douglas County engineering staff are hosting an informational open house on Thursday, April 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria of Sedalia Elementary School, 5449 Huxtable Street, Sedalia.
