Rocky Heights Middle School nighthawks turn on the neon

Step aside Charlie’s Angels…you’ve got nothing on these RHMS Neon Party goers!

Rocky Heights Middle School (RHMS) students took some time out in November for some good, clean, colorful fun. A great time was had by all at the school’s first school social of the year, better known as the Nighthawk Neon Party sponsored by the Parent Community Alliance (PCA) at RHMS.

A disc jockey was provided for entertainment in the commons area, a cake walk up on stage, raffle of four large gift baskets, and neon-clad photos taken by Lifetouch, while nachos and cotton candy were served by parent volunteers. The fun continued into the gym where a large inflatable obstacle course and a jousting tournament added to the festivities.

The disc jockey kept the tunes rolling and the kids kept the dance floor hopping as they rocked it neon style. As PCA President Gina Landis said, “We were so thrilled with the wonderful turnout from the kids and are so thankful for all of the volunteers and staff who helped make it so successful!”
