Castle Pines Urgent Care coming soon to the community

By Elizabeth Wood West

Castle Pines Urgent Care and Family Practice will soon be opening its doors to offer a broad range of medical services to the community. The new clinic will open in early February, 2012, and is located at 7280 Lagae Road, Unit J, in the King Soopers shopping center in Castle Pines. Hours of operation will be 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the weekends. The professional staff will be Dr. Lawrence Wilner, D.O. and Paige Corbett, MSN, CNM, NP-C.

Wilner resides in Castle Rock, is a 1991 graduate from University North Texas Health Science Center, and is a resident graduate from Presbyterian St. Luke’s in Denver. He is board certified in family medicine, has twenty years of experience in urgent care/family practice, is level 2 accredited for occupational medicine, and is certified in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support.

Corbett lives in Castle Pines and is a board certified family nurse practitioner and nurse midwife, with more than 20 years medical experience in primary care, ear/nose/throat, and plastic surgery. Corbett said, “I specialize in women’s health and especially enjoy helping the adolescent female population to promote wellness and lifelong health. However, I will also be providing care across the lifespan as a primary care/urgent care clinician.”

Wilner said, “I feel it is a tremendous opportunity to provide full service care for the community that is long overdue. We are so excited to be the first office here in town. We will take care of all problems – from newborns to the elderly – and can manage all acute and chronic problems commonly seen in the population. We are happy to do physicals and wellness exams,” said Wilner.

Wilner said that having an urgent care with extended hours can handle those little injuries that occur at home or can look at a child with a fever or other illness. “I love pediatrics and consider it the highlight of the day,” he said.

Additionally, both will be providing dermaceutical treatments (Botox, Dysport and dermal fillers).
