County-wide recycling event July 23

A residential-only electronics recycling, personal documents shredding and clothing donation event will be held on Saturday, July 23, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Sports Authority Stadium, 11901 Newlin Gulch Blvd., in Parker.
For personal document shredding, up to three boxes or bags of paper will be shredded at no cost. Up to seven additional boxes or bags will be accepted for shredding at $5 each. Unlimited, yet specific personal items for electronics recycling will be accepted.
Disposal fees – to fund the environmentally responsible disposal of materials within electronics – will be collected.
A disposal fee of $10 will be collected for each computer monitor. Television disposal fees are determined by size and range from $18 to $1 per linear inch. All other electronics have a device disposal fee of $1 per item.
Donations to support the services of the Parker Task Force will be accepted.
