The Castle Pines Storm, under the leadership of Coach Eric Goodrich, finished its third season off the blocks. With 97 swimmers in the Mountain High Swim League (MHSL) D Division, the team had 44 swimmers make it to Championships and an additional 8 swimmers qualified for All Stars.
Assistant coach Miranda Morton finished first in the two events she swam at the All Star meet on July 23, which were the 15-18 year-olds 50 free and the 100 fly. Parent representative Kathy Fraser commented, “We had a fun season with many of our swimmers improving dramatically from the start of the season to the end!”
