Brewing up some fun!

By Patte Smith

A frosty mug of beer, yummy food, live music and exceptional art exhibits — sounds terrific! Join in the fun at the Art and Ale Brew Festival at the Wildlife Experience from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, August 17.

World-class beer from some of the finest local breweries (and boy does Colorado have great brewers!) will be available for tasting. Scrumptious food will be served by local restauranteurs. Tickets include bottomless food and drink samples, a collector’s mug, and musical entertainment.

Guests get to view the Wildlife Experience’s galleries and exhibits that display the finest wildlife art and sculpture from around the world. Later, rock the night away with Denver’s own cover band, Flock of Beagles.

If too much brew is for you, take advantage of the worry-free Art & Ale Hotel Package offer that includes a room for a couple, two tickets to the brew festival, transportation to and from the Wildlife Experience festival event and breakfast for two and late check-out at 1 p.m. For more information or to purchase a hotel package, contact Angelinah Ross with Courtyard Marriott at 720-895-0125.

Brewers and restauranteurs take note: If you want to introduce your unique brews or tantalizing eats to more than 2,000 enthusiasts, now is your chance. Booth space for all vendors is free provided you supply drink or food for 2,000 people. For more information or to register call 720-488-3312 or e-mail.

Art & Ale is a 21 and over only event. ID’s are required and will be checked at the door. Children are not permitted at this event.
