Castle Pines movie in the park

Photos by Julie Montoya

On Friday, August 17, more than 500 Castle Pines residents of all ages gathered at Coyote Ridge Park to watch a movie in the park. “We Bought a Zoo” was a big hit, and residents really enjoyed the movie. The Castle Pines North Master Association sponsored this community event. In addition, the Master Association gave every child a free box of movie candy to enjoy during the show.

According to Master Association cboard member Brian Cardinell, the event was a huge success. “I am thrilled to report that the Movie Night in the Park was a great success!” he stated. “This would not have been the case if it wasn’t for the efforts of Carla Kenny from the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce, who worked in concert with my Board colleagues and I to ensure the event’s success. I view this as a direct reflection of our ability to work across community leadership entities toward the shared goal of uniting our community through event coordination. I look forward to seeing everyone again next summer …. ‘at the park’!”
