City educates about TABOR ballot question

City of Castle Pines officials have been making the rounds to community homeowner’s associations and the business community, trying to educate residents about its proposed ballot question that will appear on this November’s ballot.
The city is mailing information to homes and businesses and stressing the importance of getting educated about this issue now. Under the Fair Campaign Practices Act, no public money or publicly owned facilities can be used to advocate for a particular ballot question after council approves the ballot language. According to Interim City Manager James McGrady, this is anticipated to occur on September 5.
