Don’t wait … make the holidays happy for those in need!

It is not too late to help make holiday wishes come true for families throughout the Douglas/Elbert Task Force’s Santa’s Sharing program and the Women’s Crisis and Family Outreach Center’s (WCFOC) Adopt-A-Family program. The Task Force needs gift card donations to help provide a holiday meal or sponsors to adopt a family for Christmas.
To sponsor a family, donate gifts, cash, or gift cards to any of the Task Force’s Santa Sharing programs, a sponsor application form must be completed. The form and information can be found at www.detaskforce.org or e-mail.
The WCFOC is asking the community to Adopt-A-Family for the holidays. Sponsors get a list of needs and wants for each client and are never required to purchase everything on the list. Sponsors will drop off their gifts to the WCFOC administration office in Castle Rock.
The WCFOC is accepting food donations, non-perishable food baskets, and gift certificates that will be donated to the families. Gift cards to grocery stores enable shelter clients to purchase fresh produce and dairy products. Gas cards are also needed so clients can get around to appointments.
