Election approaches

In November, Douglas County voters will be able to cast their votes in the General Election, which will include a vote in the presidential race as well as other local and national issues.

The election culminates on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6. Mail ballots must be in the Elections Office (not simply postmarked) by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Election Dates to Remember:

October 9: Last day to register to vote
October 15: Ballot mail drop
October 22 – 26: Early voting from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
October 29 – November 2: Early voting from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
November 6: Election Day – ballots must be received (not postmarked) before 7 p.m. on this day.
