Beginning in June, Castle Pines Community Church (CPCC) will be hosting a special teaching series, called “Marriage 2.0.” The series will be held Sundays during both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services, starting June 3 through June 24. As a complement to the series, CPCC will also host a mini-conference/marriage retreat at The Marriott Hotel in Lone Tree. The public is invited to attend both the teaching series and the mini-conference/retreat.

The mini-conference/retreat is based on “The Art of Marriage” material from the Christian ministry Family Life, and will include video teaching from nationally-known teachers. Each session will be facilitated by two couples from CPCC and will allow ample time for couples to interact on what they are learning. The mini-conference/retreat will be held Friday evening, June 22, through Saturday afternoon, June 23.

Couples may choose to attend either Friday’s mini-conference for $75 per couple (includes conference materials) or attend both the mini-conference/retreat for $150 per couple (includes one night’s lodging, conference materials, and buffet lunch on Saturday).

Senior Pastor Tom Curtright is passionate about the importance of a healthy marriage. He describes the series as being very practical and will highlight God’s plan for a great marriage relationship. Pastor Curtright said, “Marriage is one of those areas where we all face challenges. A healthy marriage is a great gift to our kids and makes life a joy. The principles found in the Bible provide tremendous insight into how to make this most important relationship thrive. There is an old adage that I think is particularly poignant to the marriage relationship – ‘An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.’ Giving your marriage a little TLC is a great investment, and if CPCC can help marriages grow and be healthy, this is one way we can contribute to our community,” he said.

Castle Pines Community Church is located at 7280 Lagae Road, at the west end of King Soopers Plaza, in Castle Pines. For further information, call Lori Laraia at 303-663-9755 or visit the Castle Pines Community Church Website.
