A very fun and worthwhile event is taking place in the Village Shops at Castle Pines during the weekend of June 15, 16 and 17. The venue will be hosting an extraordinary art event, featuring more than 20 artists and their unique creations.

This top quality, quaint art show will feature specially selected artists from across the country and their unique mediums, including sculpture, paintings, glass, photography, bronze, pottery, and jewelry.

The event kicks off on Friday evening, with an adults-only reception featuring beautiful art, live music, fine wines from Village Wines, and wonderful food pairings from the top caterers around the Denver area. Enjoy the beautiful Colorado evening with your friends and neighbors!

Friday’s event will benefit Firefly Autism, a Colorado based non-profit treating more than 140 children with autism. Firefly Autism works with children from the ages of 18 months to 18 years. It provides a full range of therapy treatments, assessments, clinical and consultation services, as well as program development. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to this worthwhile cause.

The art show continues on Saturday and Sunday and is open to the public. Colorado artist Tim Zandee coordinated this effort and is thrilled with the caliber of artists who will be represented. “All of the artists were hand chosen and represent high quality and great integrity,” he remarked. “This show is all about community, charity, quality, and convenience. We hope to make this an annual event!”

This art show differentiates itself from other bigger art shows by showcasing a select number of artists who are each unique and produce very purchasable art.

To purchase tickets for the Friday evening event, go to www.blacktie-colorado.com, and click on the “calendar” tab. Scroll to June 15 and click on the event. Friday’s reception is from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday’s show is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday’s show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
