Public welcome at CALF’s annual Harvest Day at Lowell Ranch
The Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation invites the public to Harvest Day at Lowell Ranch.

The Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation (CALF) is hosting its annual Harvest Day on Saturday, October 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Lowell Ranch. The 133-acre working ranch is located at 2330 S. I-25 Frontage Road, just three miles south of Castle Rock.
Harvest Day is free to the public and will feature seasonal activities including picking pumpkins from CALF’s pumpkin patch, hayrides, and enjoying agricultural exhibits and livestock. There will also be a Ranch BBQ starting at 4 p.m. Tickets for the BBQ will be available on a first come-first served basis.
CALF is a non-profit foundation established in 2002 by John and Bea Lowell, lifetime Douglas County ranchers who devoted themselves to helping kids, the community, and promoting agriculture and the rural lifestyle.
CALF provides 4-H and Future Farmers of America members space to raise their livestock projects, land for food production, community gardens, and a pumpkin patch at the ranch.For further information about CALF or Harvest Day, call 303-688-1026 or visit www.thecalf.org.
