For those who have missed their favorite local go-to restaurant in the Village shops at Castle Pines, Rodney’s is back for a second round! Rodney Utz has owned Rodney’s in the Village for the past ten years, and he’s thrilled to have taken back full ownership of the restaurant.

Utz is a Denver restaurant entrepreneur who has had tremendous success in the business during the past three decades. His restaurant in Cherry Creek closed recently after having been a fixture there for 27 years, and he is ready to put his sole focus on Rodney’s in the Village. Utz can be seen daily at the restaurant, seating customers, serving food, and chatting with the local clientele. “I’m old-fashioned,” remarked Utz. “This is the only way I know how to do it. I believe in my product so I’m willing to be here to support it.”

Utz has created a new menu with many of his signature tried-and-true favorites, such as the prime rib, open-faced steak sandwich, chili rellenos, and his specialty dessert, the snowball. All of the dressings and sauces are homemade, and the menu features an extensive selection of choices at very reasonable prices.

Rodney’s is a true neighborhood joint, where customers feel comfortable bringing their families or enjoying drinks in the bar after work or on weekends. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and offers a happy hour every day from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring half-priced drinks and appetizers.

Utz wants to get reacquainted with the local residents and during the month of November he is promoting two special offers: Buy one meal, and get the second at 70 percent off, or buy two meals and receive a free bottle of house wine.

Rodney’s is located at 858 Happy Canyon Road Ste. C100. Reservations are not required. For more information, call 720-733-6565.
