Thank you to our dedicated readers and to all of you who contribute stories, photos and ideas to the paper each and every month. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to share your stories with the Castle Pines community.

You voted The Castle Pines Connection newspaper number one among news sources in Castle Pines, and we appreciate the feedback. An overwhelming ninety-five percent of the nearly 1,500 respondents to the City of Castle Pines’ recent citizen satisfaction survey stated they read the paper – with the largest portion stating they “always” read it.

Thank you for your continued support and participation – we could not do it without you!

Update on our friend, Tim Gamble:

We were thrilled to have Tim and his wife Sandy join us at our company picnic last month at Elk Ridge Park.

Tim says he is feeling better every day, and his sense of humor has definitely returned …

Thank you to all who have generously donated to the Tim Gamble Benefit Fund at First Bank – it really is making an impact!

Also, special thanks to Cherokee Ranch & Castle for offering to donate one-hundred percent (100%) of its proceeds from sales at the Castle gift shop in the month of September to Tim’s fund. Check out a few of their upcoming events on page 14, or go to www.cherokeeranch.org. Be sure to stop by the gift shop on your way out!

Also, get set for “Dine out with Tim” day at Duke’s Steakhouse on Monday, September 10. Dukes will donate ten percent (10%) of its proceeds that day to Tim’s benefit fund … and who doesn’t love a great meal at Dukes? We hope to see you there!
