The Castle Rock Starlighting

November 17th, marks the day for this year’s Castle Rock Starlighting Ceremony.  The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, along with the Castle Rock Fire Department will be lighting up the famous star that has been proudly displayed atop Castle Rock, for 77 years.  This year’s ceremony will feature carriage rides, caroling, hot chocolate, chili supper, and the greatly anticipated arrival of Santa Clause, who visits Castle Rock kids on his way to the North Pole.  This year’s celebration will also include fireworks, and the grand opening of the new ice skating rink in downtown Castle Rock.  Join your neighbors on Wilcox Square, in historic downtown Castle Rock, to welcome in the beginning of the 2012 Holiday season!
