Back to school at Buffalo Ridge

It is mere days until school will be back in session. For Buffalo Ridge Elementary School (BRE) families, the first full day is set for Tuesday, August 13, and classroom assignments will be posted on the Parent Portal sometime during the week of August 5.
New family registration: Begins August 5:
If your family is new to the area and you are interested in enrolling a child at BRE, please contact the office at 303-387-5575 beginning Monday, August 5.
Meet & greet day: Monday, August 12
Students and families are invited to stop by the school to find classrooms, meet teachers and drop off supplies. Student last names A-M – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; kindergarten only -10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; student last names N-Z -12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Back to school carnival: Friday, August 23
Enjoy carnival games while meeting new friends and catching up with old friends. The fun will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Back to school night: Thursday, August 29
This parents-only evening, planned from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., will give parents a sneak peek into the daily life of students as well as provide an opportunity to hear a state of the school address from Principal McAfee.
