Connection staff answers for PBS
The Castle Pines Connection staff, families, and friends had a great time working the phone bank at Rocky Mountain PBS.

On March 6, The Castle Pines Connection staff, along with spouses, family, and friends joined forces with Rocky Mountain PBS and volunteered to work the phone bank during the Thursday night News Hour to collect donations. Each week, nearly 900,000 people throughout Colorado turn to Rocky Mountain PBS to discover local, national and international programming that informs, enlightens, and entertains.
Rocky Mountain PBS celebrates its 57th anniversary on the air this year. The network began in Denver in 1956 as Colorado’s first donor supported public television station. It is now Colorado’s only statewide television network, with stations in Denver (KRMA), Pueblo/Colorado Springs (KTSC), Steamboat Springs (KRMZ), Grand Junction (KRMJ), and Durango (KRMU).
Susan Barber, special events and volunteer coordinator, said, “We really appreciate the support of The Castle Pines Connection during this important fundraising period. Our goal at Rocky Mountain PBS is to provide quality public service media to all Coloradans, whether it be on-air, online, or in the community. We are dedicated to early childhood education, arts and public affairs. Thanks to you for your work alongside us to achieve these goals. Public broadcasting does, indeed, take a village!”
