Devil Dash is the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes and party-goers. On Labor Day weekend, fearless runners will return to scenic Lyons, Colorado to take on 14 intense obstacles through Purgatory, running through three-plus miles of adventurous terrain and celebrating with friends and family during an all-day festival with live music, food, and beer in the Beer Garden of Eden.

The Colorado Devil Dash race will take place at Bohn Park on Saturday, September 14. Devil Dash will have participants jumping through Rings of Fire, crawling through mud pits, climbing over cargo nets, sliding down a “Slippery Slope to Hell” slip-n-slide, scaling Satan’s Tower and working their way through additional grueling obstacles themed after the seven deadly sins. The first wave of the race will begin at 9 a.m. followed by waves of racers taking off to tackle the course every half hour throughout the day.

Race Director Will Newcomer said, “Devil Dash is an event that runners and spectators will never forget. We are excited to return to Lyons for our third year in a row as it has such a fun, adventurous and scenic course.”

Participants are encouraged to suit up in their best devil and angel attire and are crowned with devil attire prior to racing. Beer from local breweries and devil grub from local food trucks will be available for purchase in the Beer Garden of Eden. Spectators are welcome to enjoy the live music playing throughout the day, watch the devils tackle several obstacles near the finish line and participate in other activities on site.
