What a difference a year can make. Last August 24, contractors were just breaking ground on the Medical and Dental Center of Castle Pines (MedDentCP). Today, the building is nearly complete and the finishing touches are being added in anticipation of move-ins planned throughout the month of September.

The building is owned by four local professional practices: Castle Pines Family Dentistry, Castle Pines Orthodontics, Castle Pines Eye Care, and Castle Pines Dental Care. The practices teamed up with White Construction Group to create an iconic mountain-modern building in the City of Castle Pines.

“It’s been quite a journey,” said Dr. Matthew Rolfson of Castle Pines Dental Care. “It’s been our baby and we take a lot of personal pride in it,” he added.

With natural stone, reclaimed wood, and trendsetting eco-friendly materials, MedDentCP is a beautiful addition to the community. “The building is not only an asset for our practices, but an artistic asset for the community,” shared Dr. Andrew Dunbar of Castle Pines Orthodontics. “In the end, we can all step back and enjoy this for the rest of our careers,” he added.

The city is proud of the efforts made by the doctors to make this building a reality. “I think it’s great to see a centralized place in Castle Pines for those types of services.  It’s nice to see these businesses reinvest in the community and also to see those businesses grow,” said Sam Bishop, community development director for the City of Castle Pines.

Dr. Stephanie Scheich of Castle Pines Family Dentistry has been the go-to person throughout this process. “She deserves many accolades for keeping us all on track, on time and on budget,” shared Dunbar. Scheich is personally happy to be able to come back to work more days with the extra office space her practice will enjoy. “We have so many great patients that I have missed seeing over the years and am excited for this new phase of my professional life,” said Scheich.

All of the practices are excited about what the new space will offer patients. Dr. Jason Ortman of Castle Pines Eye Care shared that his eyewear showroom will be more than three times its current size, the waiting area will be expansive with plenty of seating, exam rooms will increase from two to six, and diagnostic equipment will be the latest and greatest.

Families are invited to come out and see the new building. A community open house is planned for Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include food, a bouncy house and lots of activities for kids. “The doctors are all excited for the community to see the finished building. We are very proud of how the project turned out and White Construction did a great job delivering on time and on budget,” said Scheich.

The Medical and Dental Center of Castle Pines is located at 250 Max Drive, just east of Walgreens on Castle Pines Parkway. For more information, visit www.MedDentCP.com.

A note to the community from White Construction Group: We consider it an honor and a privilege to develop and construct this two-story, 25,000 square foot, six-suite medical building for the finest doctors and medical professionals in Castle Pines. We’d like to recognize all of our partners who contributed to the delivery of this signature building—the City of Castle Pines, the Castle Pines Metropolitan District, our architects and designers, subcontractors and vendors, bankers and insurance companies, and neighbors who endured our construction process for the past few months. Most importantly, I’d like to recognize the employees of White Construction Group who worked hard to ensure an on-time, in-budget project delivery, as well as incorporating design services that complement the Castle Pines master plan.” – Timothy L. White, president of White Construction Group.
