Several city seats up for a vote

Elections will be held this fall for the following city offices: mayor; council members for ward 1, ward 2 and ward 3; city treasurer and city clerk. All seats are for a four-year term. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age, registered to vote in the City of Castle Pines, and have lived in your ward for one year prior to election day.
To place your name on the ballot, you will need to circulate a nomination petition and acquire a minimum of 25 verified signatures from registered voters in Castle Pines. Petitions may be picked up at the deputy city clerk’s office (7501 Village Square Drive, Suite #100 in Castle Pines) beginning Tuesday, August 6. Completed petitions must be returned to the deputy city clerk no later than August 26 at 5 p.m.
