Castle Pines Village Easter hunt so egg-citing!

The Castle Pines Village (CPV) parks and recreation committee held its annual Easter egg hunt on a beautiful, sunny day at the end of April.  Hundreds of parents and their kids turned out for this fun event.  The hunt is broken up into multiple age groups so that all of the kids have an opportunity to find eggs and each group has an opportunity to find a “golden egg” that features a special prize inside.

CPV resident Jennifer DeMink attended the event with her three children ages eight, seven and four.  “They loved it!  My older two were really excited about the golden egg and my little one was all about quantity,” remarked DeMink.  “It was a great turn out; there were a ton of families and we got so lucky on the weather.  They had plenty of eggs so everyone’s baskets were full!”

The Easter egg hunt is just one of numerous activities that the neighborhood parks and recreation committee sponsors each year to bring the community together.  Pictured below are a few photos from the event, as well as from others in the community.
