The City of Castle Pines has a new city clerk. Bruce Roome was sworn into the position in January and now handles a variety of city matters, including taking minutes at city council meetings; city record keeping; administering business, sales tax and liquor licenses; and overseeing election procedures.
“I really like it here,” said Roome, who comes to Castle Pines after working as a deputy city manager in both Wheat Ridge and Windsor, Colorado. “I enjoy keeping everything organized and look forward to using my past experience to introduce new ideas here.”
