Information provided by Denver Dumb Friends League
Join us from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 1 at Glendale Farm Open Space Trail, located east of I-25 between RidgeGate Parkway and Castle Pines Parkway. Hike the beautiful 1.6-mile trail with your dog, shop for pet-friendly merchandise and enjoy demonstrations and food trucks. All proceeds benefit the Buddy Center shelter in Castle Rock.
Included in the registration fee is an event photo of you and your dog, a bag of dog treats, craft beer or root beer, and delicious ice cream for you and your dog. But don’t stop there ... you can earn more great fundraising incentives and support more animals in our care by achieving higher fundraising levels.
All proceeds from the Wag `n Trail benefit the homeless pets at the Buddy Center. The Buddy Center is the only full-service animal shelter in Douglas County, providing vital programs and services for approximately 3,500 cats, dogs and small pets each year. Your donations will make a life-changing difference!
Check out our fundraising incentives page on the Denver Dumb Friends League website to see the great items you could receive and the impact you can make for animals in need.
Have a group of folks in your neighborhood or workplace who would be interested in joining you at the event or looking for a fun weekend day event for your family to participate in together? Or, do you have the time and the heart to volunteer?
More than 100 volunteers are needed to assist with this event by setting up, handing out water, assisting to register participants and much more. Please contact Jasmin Rice at email@example.com if you have questions regarding volunteering.
The Dumb Friends League has two shelters for homeless pets: the Quebec Street Shelter in Denver and the Buddy Center shelter in Castle Rock. These full-service shelters offer adoptions, pet intake, lost-and-found services, veterinary care, foster care, behavior training for pets and humane education programs for the public.
