Flag Day was June 14, and The Castle Pines Connection staff hit the streets on “patriotic patrol.” Following a Facebook post announcing the contest, we combed the streets taking photos of homes proudly displaying American flags. We were happy to see so many demonstrations of patriotism in 80108 – from large painted wood plank American flags to small stick flags on mailboxes, and everything in between.
