WinterFest has become an annual tradition that residents of Castle Pines Village (CPV) look forward to each February.  The event brings the community together during the heart of winter to celebrate and reconnect.

Sponsored by the parks and recreation committee, the day offered something for all ages.  Jumpy houses, a basketball toss, and other games were provided for kids, and the adults enjoyed live music.  Delicious food and treats were provided by Flying Horse Catering, and the homes association cooked hot dogs on the outdoor barbecue grills.

CPV resident Lisa Voss was instrumental in planning the event and was thrilled with the results: “The Village’s fourth annual WinterFest was the biggest fest to date – due to the addition of live music, games, and ironically, nearly 60 degree weather.  It was wonderful to visit with old and new friends.”

Robert, another resident who has attended the event for the past four years, felt this was the best event thus far.  “It was a beautiful day, a great crowd, the music was fantastic, the kids were enjoying themselves … and the food was really good.”
