Comic Con is a celebration of many different aspects of pop culture. Where else could you find superheroes, wizards, zombies and spaceships celebrated all in one place? It was not long ago when “geek” was a negative stereotype and many didn’t have a place where they could share sci-fi-esque interests. Comic Con is changing that. There are artists and authors selling and signing work, celebrity appearances, merchandise booths, movie trailers, a costume contest, and much more.
“This was my third year attending,” admitted Parr. “My favorite part is always seeing all the amazing, creative and sometimes outlandish costumes!”
