It is through the community’s help that the Sock it To ‘Em sock campaign can provide thousands of new socks to shelters, services, agencies and schools in the Denver metro area each year.
The Sock It To ‘Em sock campaign is a 501 (c)(3) organization which began in 2012 by Castle Pines resident Susan Elizabeth Lee and her friend Phillis Shimamoto.
Until December 31, members of the community can drop off new socks for men, women and children at the following locations: MiYO Café – 858 W. Happy Canyon Road, Castle Rock, and Origins Salon – 209 Fourth St, Castle Rock. (See page 19 of the E Guide for a related free drink promotion).
