Congratulations to Castle Pines resident Carter Brand! Brand finished in 37th place among the Junior Men (ages 16-19) at the North American Triathlon Championships, (which includes Mexico and Canada) in Sarasota, Florida on March 10. He finished in eighth place amongst the United State’s 16-year-old participants, with a finishing time of 00:59:20. “It was a great experience representing Team USA and being there with the nation’s top athletes and being coached by four-time Olympian Hunter Kemper,” noted Brand.
