“Check out” this new way to give as a King Soopers shopper

By Terri Wiebold

Great news for King Soopers shoppers and local organizations looking to participate in the King Soopers Community Rewards program for cash back to schools, community organizations and nonprofits.

Gone are the days of carrying multiple cards and pre-loading a separate King Soopers card that is associated with a specific organization. Effective April 1, King Soopers streamlined the process by linking all rewards points and benefits to your King Soopers Rewards Card.

After signing up online, all you have to do is shop and scan your rewards card at checkout, which most of us do anyway in order to get discounted prices and savings on our purchases. Simply ensure your card is registered at www.kingsoopers.com. After logging in to your account, scroll to the bottom of the pages under “Community.” You will be given options of which organization (more than 650 to date) you would like 5% of all your purchases to go to. Every time you use your King Soopers Rewards Card or enter your alternate ID at checkout, 5% of the purchase amount will benefit the organization of your choice. Don’t have a school or organization in mind? Your local library (Douglas County Libraries) is one option you can choose!

Follow these easy enrollment steps:
Go to www.kingsoopers.com.
Log into your personal rewards card account or create a new one.
Search for an organization to support.
Click Enroll.

There are no costs associated with the program. Purchases of any merchandise, including fuel, at King Soopers or City Market stores benefit the organization.

“We are excited to introduce a new and improved way for nonprofits to fundraise,” stated literature obtained from the Lagae Road King Soopers location. “As our customers’ wants and needs evolve, we want to be right there with them. The passion for community and raising money for what they are most passionate about should be easy and seamless. The new community rewards platform will be just that.”

For additional questions, visit www.kingsoopers.com, call 303-698-3403 or stop by the customer service counter at your local King Soopers.
