Approximately 20 City of Castle Pines residents attended the first of three scheduled Pilates in the Park events on Saturday, June 8. Participants of all skill levels ranging from first-timers to veteran pilates gurus joined in the fun. It was an invigorating way to Zenfully start the weekend while enjoying the outdoors at one of the Castle Pines beautiful community parks.
The City of Castle Pines created these outdoor fitness opportunities to bring the community together and help residents meet their summer fitness goals. Each class will be led by a professional instructor who will guide participants through a flowing, multi-level mat class designed to tone and balance muscles, align the body, strengthen the core and give renewed energy!
Pilates in the Park is an hour-long mat pilates session at The Retreat Park in the grass. Classes begin at 9 a.m. and participants are encouraged to bring their own mat and water. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older. Upcoming event dates include Saturday, July 13 and Saturday, August 17.
