Hi there! I am offering guitar instruction to the greater Castle Pines area. My teaching style revolves around developing guitar techniques so that kids & adults can play the styles of music (and songs) that they enjoy, beginner through advanced. I teach music theory and sight reading upon request but my primary focus is technique & style. We all want to make music, right? I've been teaching guitar for well over 15 years and have played guitar since age of 9 (over 25 years + GIT Graduate). I travel to my student's homes and my hourly rate is $40 per hour. I studied with Judy Davis a top vocal coach in California. Ms.Davis was an expert in the physiology of vocal sound projection. Ms. Davis taught Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Cher, Steve Perry, Janis Joplin,Judy Garland,Eddie Money and many other vocal music talents! I use her vocal techniques as well as those from several other well known teachers in the vocal music industry.
I sing with a worship team at my church and also perform with and direct the Castle Cappellas, a Ladies A Cappella Group in Castle Rock!! I direct a special needs choir as well.
I hold a degree in K-12 Vocal/Piano Music Education from the University Of Nebraska at Omaha. Rates are 30.00 per half hour.

Clarinet, Saxophone, and Flute lessons for students of all abilities and ages. The first lessons is free. The instructor holds a masters degree from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University and over 10 years of experience teaching privately. I am able to charge less than local music schools and music stores, because I teach out of my home and I do not pay studio rental fees. I pass this savings directly on to my students. My lessons are structured, but fun. My students leave feeling energetic and ready to face their weekly assignments and goals. I love teaching and I hope to hear from you soon!
