Judy Krawiec, new owner of Salon 188 in Castle Pines, just took it up a notch with the opening of her spa last month.  The list of spa services includes massages, body scrubs and facials, to name a few, in addition to popular salon.

The wide range of massage options include the typical Swedish massage, pre-pregnancy massage, hot stone massage, deep tissue massage, and by popular demand, a chair massage.  In addition, Krawiec created a “Tension Tamer” massage for those who are not looking for a full body massage.  Whether it’s a back, shoulder, and upper arm massage you’re looking for or if it’s your calves and feet that are giving you grief, this massage has a lot of flexibility and you call the shots.  As Krawiec says, “Tell us what you want and we will deliver it!”

Another service in high demand is the body scrubs.  Krawiec recommends getting a body scrub at least once if not twice a month to combat the dry Colorado climate.  The formulas are all oil based which work very well to moisturize dry skin.

The Salon 188 spa features facials as well.  Lemongrass facials are offered for teens to help control acne, there are men’s facials, and even back facials for that backless dress or upcoming trip to the Caribbean.  Krawiec is very diligent in thoroughly researching all product lines herself and determining which combinations are most effective for her clients.

The spa also features a list of numerous waxing options, eyelash and eyebrow tinting as well as the latest eyelash extensions.  Salon 188 also offers a full service salon with everything from color and cuts to extensions and Brazilian blow outs.
