With a jorum of skee and a pantful of mazuma the Gatsby Glam Gala to benefit Hide in Plain Sight was held at Cielo Castle Pines on a beautiful October evening.
A gorgeous sunny day at Plum Creek Golf Course was the setting for the annual Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce golf tournament, held on September 19. The golfers enjoyed a fun day that started with Bloody Mary’s and burritos, followed by 18 holes of golf and finally a luncheon.
Several contests including “marshmallow putting” and “longest drive” added to the fun.
The event was sponsored by numerous businesses, and a good deal of money was raised for the beneficiary Hide in Plain Sight, which raises awareness and funding for students in the areas of education, food and shelter who are at risk in Douglas County.
More than 560 passionate animal lovers from across Colorado and other parts of the United States gathered at the 15th annual Lulu’s Barkin’ BBQ to benefit homeless pets and horses at the Dumb Friends League Buddy Center in Castle Rock and the Harmony Equine Center in Franktown.
Music by "Built to Last", great food, and lots of Colorado craft brews were enjoyed by all at the 4th annual Rendezvous at the Rock hosted by The Rockyard Brewing Company in Castle Rock.
People from all over the community enjoyed camping out in lounge chairs and blankets and spending the day with friends and family on Saturday June 4 at the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce annual Food Truck Frenzy at Elk Ridge Park. The day was filled with gorgeous sunshine, delicious food, local beer and wonderful live music.
After what is hopefully the last snowstorm of spring we dig out, clean up, and enjoy our friends and neighbors at he annual community wide garage sale. And we make a few dollars to boot. Thank you Lynn for your great photos!
The Castle Pines Library has moved to its new location with two celebrations. The first, a farewell storytime at the old library followed, two weeks later, by a grand opening celebration at the new library.
Winterfest, an annual tradition of Castle Pines Village each February, featured jumpy houses, a basketball toss, with hot dogs and smores. It was a beautiful day, a great crowd, and the music was fantastic!
The Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce went Hollywood at their annual banquet and awards ceremony. The affair was held at the prestigious Cielo at Castle Pines. Here are just a smattering of photos from the event. Congratulations to all the award winners! With a special thanks to Carla and Amy!
