We believe everyone likes to receive good news.
The Castle Pines Connection shares inspiring stories, relevant news and timely information with our readers in the Castle Pines community and throughout Douglas County. We believe a community that stays connected and informed thrives, so we cultivate positive community relationships and connect resources via a monthly printed and mailed lifestyle newspaper and E Guide magazine (all things Eating, Entertainment and Events), social media platforms and an extensive website. We celebrate neighbors, businesses and events, and having delivered "a little good news" for more than a decade, we are a valued and trusted resource.
Our team of professional writers, designers, photographers and account managers have lived and worked in the Castle Pines community for years. We shop at the same grocery stores, our children attend the same schools, and we face some of the same community issues as our readers. Living locally helps ensure our content is relevant and personal to our readers. Read staff bios HERE.
The Connection website features news stories, neighbor and business spotlights, and a marketplace directory of local businesses – all in an easy-to-use format that is adaptable for desktops, tablets and smart phones. Our website also provides an abundance of information about the surrounding community, with links to a variety of local organizations. A fan favorite is the "Photo Album" section with slideshows of fun community events.
We consider ourselves "old school" and enjoy the look, tangible feel and smell of newsprint. Recognizing that many of our readers also enjoy engaging electronically, everything that we do in print is also available digitally. E-subscribers get a sneak peek of the the newspaper and E Guide via email a few days prior to the newspaper arriving in homes and businesses. They also gain access to free ticket giveaways and exclusive promotions. Join us!
The Connection lifestyle newspaper is direct-mailed free of charge to homes and businesses in the 80108 ZIP code, including the City of Castle Pines, The Village at Castle Pines, and areas of Castle Rock and unincorporated Douglas County. Remaining copies are distributed to business partners in Lone Tree, Castle Rock, Sedalia, Highlands Ranch and Parker. Interested parties outside our distribution area are invited to join our free e-subscription or sign up for a direct-mail subscription for $36/year. Email editor for details.
