A perfect Day on the Greens

A gorgeous sunny day at Plum Creek Golf Course was the setting for the annual Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce golf tournament. The golfers enjoyed a fun day that started with Bloody Mary’s and burritos, followed by 18 holes of golf and finally a luncheon. Several contests including “marshmallow putting” and “longest drive” added to the fun.

15th annual Lulu’s Barkin’ BBQ

More than 560 passionate animal lovers from across Colorado and other parts of the United States gathered at the 15th annual Lulu’s Barkin’ BBQ to benefit homeless pets and horses at the Dumb Friends League Buddy Center in Castle Rock and the Harmony Equine Center in Franktown.

Food Truck Frenzy

People from all over the community enjoyed camping out in lounge chairs and blankets and spending the day with friends and family on Saturday June 4 at the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce annual Food Truck Frenzy at Elk Ridge Park. The day was filled with gorgeous sunshine, delicious food, local beer and wonderful live music.

New Library Opens in Castle Pines

What starts with goodbye and ends with hello? The Castle Pines Library has moved to its new location with two celebrations. The first, a farewell storytime at the old library followed, two weeks later, by a grand opening celebration at the new library.

A celebration of winter in Castle Pines Village

Winterfest, an annual tradition of Castle Pines Village each February, featured jumpy houses, a basketball toss, with hot dogs and smores. It was a beautiful day, a great crowd, and the music was fantastic!
