Solid Life Hosts CPN Easter Egg Hunt

by Scott Lasher

Hundreds of kids and parents hippity-hopped their way to Coyote Ridge Park on Saturday, March 15, for the annual Castle Pines North Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Solid Life Christian Center (SLCC.)

Twelve-thousand candy-filled eggs were dispersed throughout the park and chants of “We want eggs! We want eggs!” filled the brisk morning air as kids from ages one to 11 swarmed the field to collect their Easter egg loot. There were so many families present braving the early morning wind chill; the entire park was buzzing with excitement.

“This event is one that really brings the community together,” SLCC Head Pastor Russ Stutzman said. “We really enjoy being able to come together with our neighbors and celebrate Easter like this with our community.”

After the hunt, kids were able to take free pictures with the Easter Bunny, and several kids took advantage of the opportunity to get tattoos and balloons. Adults had free doughnuts, coffee and water at the event as well.
