Cutest Pets pick up prizes

Last month, the winners of the Cutest Pet in the Pines contest stopped by The Pet Stuff Place in the Village Shops to pick up their prizes. Otis, the first-place winner, arrived to claim his basket and gift certificate with his family, Steve and Jake Armstrong, who grabbed Otis’s prize the day before his one-year rescue anniversary (pictured right). The runner-up winner, Honey the Syrian hamster, picked out a fruity treat. Honorable Mentions Norah, the Newfoundland, and Roman, the Bernese mountain dog, came by with their owners Tara and Corey Roberts (pictured below-right).
Special thank you to our sponsors, Humane Colorado, The Ruff House, Hike Doggie and The Pet Stuff Place and to all who sent in photos of their family pets. And a thank you to Douglas County Libraries team who had the challenge to pick seven winners in the annual contest.
