Planting ten for DCS Montessori and the community

Stonecroft resident Nicki Martin completed her sixth-grade community service project for DCS Montessori and helped out Elk Ridge Park at the same time. Martin planted ten new trees at the park last month, a project she says she is very proud of.

Flying Dutchman Nursery (Michigan) donated the trees, and Martin was able to plant them in Elk Ridge Park with the help of the City of Castle Pines parks department. “It was a lot of fun, and I was proud to give back something that will benefit the community!” said Martin.
